As a female Heating engineer, I started my apprenticeship as a commercial heating engineer back in 1985. I finished my apprenticeship in 1989 with City & Guilds in advanced craft as a heating engineer which took me into gas and plumbing areas of work. The last year of my apprenticeship was spent with a local company doing domestic and commercial work. I moved away from commercial work and concentrated on domestic work.

So in 1990, I started Curtis Plumbing Heating Services 

Over the years I've maintained them and added to my qualifications as regulations change keeping abreast all the new regulations.

I’m still here and giving the same service to my clients, some of whom I’ve seen through several house moves, from general plumbing problems to complete heating systems.

I am based in Morden but I cover all areas of South London/ Surrey.

My approach to heating and plumbing is simple; diagnose the problem and get it fixed in the shortest possible time and keep my customers fully informed and believe that’s what’s kept clients coming back to me year after year.

When you call me for a plumbing or heating problem or job I will ask you to describe the problem. Surprisingly, I can often tell you how to solve it yourself and if that’s the case I’m happy to have saved you some money. The chances are you’ll come back to me next time you have a problem you can’t solve and you’ll trust me to sort it out.

If you describe a problem and I need to come along to sort it out, then I will ask for as much information upfront as possible. Including photos and a detailed description of the problem. Getting this information means you won’t be charged for Unnecessary wasted time.

Also, a large proportion of the jobs I do can be done in under an hour, which is good for you and good for me. So, the more information I have from you, the less time I spend on your job.
